Some of the fun stuff we've been doing with my sister and her family since Rich has been gone. We went to the Festival of Trees. I highly recommend doing the scavenger hunt with the kids. Gives them something to do while you are all looking at trees. Their favorite was the talking tree.
We also decorated Gingerbread Houses. My sister's mother-in-law made the gingerbread and the frosting herself. The frosting is like glue and Connor is having a hard time getting the candy off (no complaints from me). I am surprised his house is still standing with the amount of candy he put on it.
